As I sit here it is 1:10 in the morning and Santa should be here soon. Being a Hurricanes fan we have a lot of things we could wish for with this team. I have broken down some reasonable and crazy Christmas wishes. I have broken down the top .
1. Let Maurice Go. Coach Mo is a good coach, but his style just does not fit the new NHL. We were hearing excuses that its because the Hurricanes were already paying two coaches, well were not anymore. Finally he is known as a veterans coach and this team needs to get young.
2. Please Quit Recycling. The Hurricanes are known as the most green team in the league, if you leave your guarenteed to be back soon. I’m still waiting to see Justin Williams and Andrew Ladd back.
3. Put A Major Package Together For Kovalchuk. If you could get Kovalchuk signed trade anyone short of Cam Ward to get him. Maybe a little crazy, but I am also not crazy about Staal’s play.
4. Say Goodnight Brindy. I am very greatful for what Rod Brind’Amour has done for this franchise, but its time to move on. Brind’Amour’s salary could help bring up players such as Boychuk.
5. Mental Gaps and Confidence Disappear. If the Hurricanes were not suffering from Confidence issues and many mental gaps they would be in a much better position than they are at Christmas
